An agricultural fogger machine is a critical tool for farmers focused on maximizing productivity and protecting crops, livestock, and stored agricultural products. Thermal fogging allows treatment to fully penetrate all areas of the structure. In situations where deep cracks and crevices exist in wood or brick construction, formulations with residual properties can be applied using ULV equipment such as the Dyna-Fog® TORNADO™, Dyna-Fog® HURRICANE™, Dyna-Fog® MISTER III™, Vector Fog™ Model H200SF, or Dyna-Fog® TWISTER XL™ to achieve a higher level of control.

Animal Buildings:

Control of flying insects inside animal buildings and around farm facilities can be accomplished using dense clouds of small droplets produced by fogging equipment such as the Dyna-Fog® GOLDEN EAGLE™ or Dyna-Fog® SUPERHAWK™XP.

Where both immediate insect control and residual surface treatment are required, equipment such as the Dyna-Fog® MISTER III™, Vector Fog™ Model H200SF, Dyna-Fog® HURRICANE™, Dyna-Fog® ATV-1 Cold Foggers, Dyna-Fog® TYPHOON I™, or Mini-Pro™ 8HP can deliver slightly larger droplets that settle on walls and structural surfaces.

The Dyna-Fog® BLACKHAWK™ and GOLDEN EAGLE™ are also effective for applying bird repellents, such as ReJeX-IT®, to animal feedlots.

Poultry Vaccination and Antibiotic Application:

Many poultry vaccines and antibiotics must be applied at very specific droplet sizes. Selecting fogging equipment capable of delivering a consistent, pre-selected droplet size with minimal variation is essential for successful application.

Foggers such as the Dyna-Fog® TWISTER XL™, Dyna-Fog® CYCLONE™, Dyna-Fog® HURRICANE™, and Dyna-Fog® ATV-1 Cold Foggers are well suited for vaccinating turkeys, breeders, and broilers housed on floors or in cages.

Disinfecting Poultry and Animal Houses:

Disinfectants should be applied to animal housing structures prior to introducing new flocks or young animals to prevent disease buildup. Optimal results are achieved when structures are thoroughly cleaned to remove dirt and debris before treatment.

Many disinfectants are most effective when applied in droplet sizes ranging from 50 to 80 microns, allowing both surface contact and sufficient moisture for bacterial control. Thermal and ULV fogging equipment such as the Vector Fog™ Model H200SF or Dyna-Fog® MISTER III™ can be operated from entry points, while mobile units like the Dyna-Jet® L30 or Dyna-Fog® TYPHOON I™ can be driven through larger structures.

For smaller buildings, including hatcheries, compact units such as the Dyna-Fog® TORNADO™ are well suited. Automated systems like the Dyna-Fog® NIGHTSTAR® allow entire structures to be treated from a single location and may be permanently installed for routine applications.

Tropical Crops:

Thermal foggers are commonly used for tropical tree crops where leaves form a closed canopy. Thermal fog carries treatment solutions upward into the canopy, allowing droplets to settle evenly across upper leaf surfaces that are difficult to reach with conventional spraying.

Crops such as oil palm, rubber, coconut, and cocoa are frequently treated using thermal fogging. Fungicides are commonly applied using this method, and insecticides may also be used when conditions are appropriate.

Handheld units such as the Dyna-Fog® SUPERHAWK™XP and GOLDEN EAGLE™ are suitable for inaccessible terrain, while vehicle-mounted options like the Dyna-Fog® 1200 are preferred when ground access allows.
